Terra Luft is a speculative fiction author whose imagination conjures mostly dark tales. Her work explores women’s themes and challenging societal norms in hopes of allowing fresh perspectives to emerge. When other kids were reading books that, as adults, they look back on with love, she was reading Stephen King and her mother’s discarded romance novels. It explains a lot. An overachiever by nature, Terra tackles every project with coffee and sarcasm and believes all rules exist to be broken.
Terra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and English with a minor in Communications from Southern New Hampshire University and a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. She is a member of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society, and The League of Utah Writers where she serves as a member of the board as Membership Chair. She has published short stories with Crimson Edge Press, Griffin Publishers, Infinite Publishing, Teapots Away Media, and The Salt City Genre Writers.
She resides in the mountains of Utah with her indulgent and supportive husband and their two daughters, the ghost of their naughty dog, two replacement pups, and a cat who stole her heart.
